Service of Prayers for Healing

Next Service: November 8, 9:40 - 10:10am

We believe in the power and importance of prayer and in God’s healing power. Como Park Lutheran Church offers a special “Service of Prayers for Healing” at 9:40 a.m. in the sanctuary. We do this every other month, on the second Sunday of the month, six times a year. This is an opportunity for those with prayer wishes and needs to gather for a brief service of music, reading and prayer with one or both of the pastors. During this service people will have the opportunity to come forward, kneel or stand and receive prayers for themselves, and to ask prayers for others.

As it is being shaped to fit between other worship services, “The Service of Prayers for Healing” does not include sermons, communion or offerings. Join us if you feel called to receive the prayers and the support of this community.

Wednesday worship is offered at 7:00pm during the Lenten season (the six weeks before Easter). Worship is meditative, with Holden Evening Prayer.

During Lent, Soup Suppers are served by our youth from 5:00 - 6:30pm. Free-will donations are accepted and all proceeds go directly to the youth to assist with the cost of summer Bible camps and mission trips.
