Baptisms at Como Park Lutheran
"Do you promise to bring this child to the services of God's house, to place in their hands the holy scriptures, to teach them the Lord's Prayer, the Creed and the Ten Commandment, so that as she/he grows in faith they will grow in faith and understanding as well?" "I do." These words, or others like them, have marked the entry into the Christian faith for countless generations of Christians. We celebrate them as a congregation in Sunday worship, and we add our own promise to support and nurture those who are new to the faith. All of the children's, youth and family ministries that we offer: choirs and service opportunities, Sunday and Vacation Bible schools, youth groups and more are offered to help parents fulfill these promises for their children. All of our worship and adult programming does the same for adults. We are a baptized people, reaching out in Christ to a changing world.
Those desiring baptism should talk to one of the pastors or call the church office. Downloadable forms and materials are available in the column to the left on this screen.
