Make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Music is a wonderful way for our youth to enhance their worship experience here at Como Park Lutheran Church. Through music and movement our children sing a variety of songs during worship, learn how to follow along with the liturgy and hymns and, if they are interested, eventually lead worship (liturgy) when they are older. Youth that play instruments are encouraged to accompany the choirs. There are many opportunities for the youth to be involved musically in worship!
There are three choirs - two children's choirs and a youth choir. All three choirs sing separately, and at times they may be paired with one or both of the other choirs. All the choirs have the opportunity to sing with the adult choir as well (Christmas Eve of 2009) which gives them a completely different perspective and further enhances their musical experience.
Please join us any time from September - May, on Wednesday evenings (choir schedule is listed on the left side of this page).
If you would like more information on joining choir, please contact Lori Purdham.
