Como Park Lutheran Church has a number of ministries that actively help us as we fulfill our mission of "Reaching out in Christ to a changing world."  A number of these are listed under their own headers, but others deserve special mention.  Our Evangelism Committee, Children's Youth and Family Ministry Committee, Senior Ministries Committee, Social Concerns and Stewardship and Finance Committees all fulfill vital roles in congregational life and community engagement.  Whether it's through websites, door to door visits, or follow-up phone calls on worship visitors, Como Park Lutheran Church cares about and wants to connect with its neighbors for the sake of ministry. 

The Evangelism Committee takes the lead on these initiatives.  Our care for Senior Citizens as well as for youth, and the focus on intergenerational ministry between these groups is a part of our care for one another as well as our Christian witness. 

Our Senior Ministries Committee oversees visitation, outreach and fellowship for this age group. 

The Children's, Youth and Family Ministry Committee serves the same function for our cradle-through-college population, focusing on service, growth and intergenerational ministry. 

Social Concerns is a beehive of activity, touching on housing, hunger, peace and justice issues near at home and far away. 

And our Stewardship and Finance committees help provide a secure and accountable backbone for both finances and volunteers, for all of the ministries that this congregation is able to take on and accomplish.
