Lori graduated from the University of MN with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her first job was with Kellogg Square Apartments as the Leasing Director. She worked in retail management for Montgomery Ward in Duluth, MN, and Chicago, IL (where she met her husband, Ken). She was an Assistant Store Manager for Kohls and Target (Ken and Lori have been members since 1991 and were married at Como Park Lutheran). She was a Store Manager for Linens ‘N Things in Chicago and the Twin Cities before going part-time to be home more with her children, Emily and Aaron.

 Lori started as the part-time Publications Coordinator at Como Park Lutheran in April of 2003. Her responsibilities vary (and have grown!), and include layout of Sunday bulletins, newsletters, email announcements, website, mass mailings, advertising, etc. She loves her job and really enjoys working with such a gifted staff!

Lori is also the Children's Choirs Director as of fall of 2009. She has accompanied the children's choirs and adult choir for nine years, has been a member of the bell choir for six years, and has sung and played piano and keyboard for special music with the adult choir here at Como Park Lutheran. She is looking forward to working with all ages of youth this fall to pass along her love for music and how it enhances her worship experience and faith.
