Como Park Lutheran Church is a neighborhood congregation with a regional presence and a global ministry. Our 755 members come from throughout the Twin Cities to worship in a beautiful neighborhood setting.

Our mission statement is, "Como Park Lutheran Church: reaching out in Christ to a changing world." Together, we are committed to being and becoming a welcoming community of faith, open and inviting to all and active in love.

Como Park Lutheran Church enjoys rich ministries in Worship, Youth and Family, Social Ministry and Senior Citizens Ministries as well as a strong community and global outreach ministry.

Together the people of Como Park Lutheran Church participate in a wide variety of local and city-wide ministries.  Como Park Lutheran Church is the largest congregational cash contributor to our local foodshelf organization.  People here are actively involved in serving others by serving meals to homebound Seniors and providing a monthly meal at a Minneapolis homeless shelter. We house the Living at Home Block Nurse Program to keep aging Seniors in their own homes, as well as a variety of Boy Scout, Cub Scout, Girl Scout and Brownie troops and small community groups.

We are partners in ministry with the Lake Wapogasset Bible Camp, Plymouth-Christian Youth Center, Wilderness Canoe Base, Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill, Lyngblomsten Senior Center, Lutheran Social Services, the St. Paul Area Council of Churches, Luther Seminary and the Saint Paul Area Synod.

Como Park Lutheran Church has a long tradition of generous support for our missionaries and missions partnerships in Madagascar, Tanzania and now Guatemala. Last year donations and mission support for these and other ministries represented almost 20% of our total expenses.  We currently support 63 secondary school scholarships along with other vocational, divinity and nursing scholarships  in Tanzania.

Visitors are always welcome to our worship and congregational life events. New Member conversations with the Pastors and various members are offered at 9:35 a.m. on the first Sunday of each month.
