Get Ready for Summer! Special Music at Como Park Lutheran
Como Park Lutheran Church will be featuring special worship bands again this summer and will also have the "Como Park 'Unplugged'" mini concerts between services. These worship bands and concerts enhanced our summer worship last year, and they won rave reviews from members and visitors alike! Save the dates for the following Sundays:

Sunday, July 13: Kathy Johnson, Hammered Dulcimer & Voice, 9:30am
Como Park "Unplugged" will feature Kathy Johnson, who will perform from 9:30 - 10:00am. Join us for worship at 8:30 or 10:00am (before or after the concert).

Sunday, July 20: Messiah Lutheran Band at 8:30 & 10:00am Worship
They're back! Ryan and Amy Magnus (Dick and Zarida's daughter and son-in-law) are bringing their Worship Band from Messiah Lutheran Church in Mankato to lead worship at both services. The band plays an eclectic blend of traditional hymns, bluegrass, country and Christian rock music.

Sunday, August 3: Michael and Shirley Santoro, Piano & Violin, 9:30am
Como Park "Unplugged" will feature CPLC members Michael and Shirley Santoro on piano and violin. They will perform from 9:30 - 10:00am. Join us for worship at 8:30 or 10:00am.

Sunday, August 10: Outdoor Worship & Pig Roast with Live Music, 10:00am
Our annual outdoor worship service and pig roast will feature a band from Como Park Lutheran, great food and fellowship. Bring your friends and neighbors! A potluck with roast pork sandwiches will immediately follow the worship service. Free-will offering to cover the cost of the pig.

Sunday, October 12: Crop Walk (walk for hunger). New location: begins and ends at Cherokee Park United Church, West St. Paul.

Wednesday Evening Meals:
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Cost: $3 (children 11 and under), $5 (children 12 and up and adults), $18 family maximum. All are welcome to come and enjoy a meal and fellowship on Wednesday evenings!

Children's Choirs:
Grace Notes (ages 3 - K): 5:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Joyful Singers (1st - 3rd grade): 5:35 - 6:05 p.m.
Choristers (4th - 6th grade): 6:15 - 7:00 p.m.

Children's Chime Choir:
(ages 3rd grade and up)
5:15 - 5:55 p.m. in the sanctuary

Adult Bell Choir:
6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary

7th, 8th & 9th Grade Confirmation:
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room

Senior High Youth Group:
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Youth Lounge downstairs

CPLChoir - Adult Choir:
7:15 - 8:45 p.m. in the choir room downstairs
